Indigenous Football Canada Fundraiser Coffee Sale
Our Mosquito head coach Gord is one of the forces behind the creation of Indigenous Football Canada. They are sending a team to the Women’s U-18 National Championship in July. As a grassroots organization they are unfunded and have to raise the necessary funds themselves. The Outaouais Minor Football Association (OMFA) proudly presents the Valkyries, a girls-only tackle football team for players born in 2005-2008. The Valkyries will play a 6 game season in the Ontario Womens Football League (OWFL) against other teams from all across Ontario. Practices are expected to start in mid-April.
