Vulnerable sector police checks are MANDATORY for all volunteers working with children. The process is quick and easy. You will need to go to the police station on boul de la Carriere with two pieces of government issued identification and complete the form. There is no cost if you are a volunteer.
Here is a link to a letter in English and French that you should use to identify yourself as an AFMO volunteer.
The background checks are valid for three years, so if yours is from 2019 or earlier you will need to get a new one done this year.
