The Outaouais Minor Football Association (AFMO) is the governing body for amateur football in the region of Outaouais. The AFMO is a member of the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA), Quebec Midget Football League (QMFL), Football Quebec and Football Canada AFMO is committed to promoting accessibility and development of football for youth ages 8 to 16 years in the region. This development is done through two separate football streams, our house league spring football (LFMO) and elite programs currently represented by the Gatineau Vikings in NCAFA and the Gaulois de Gatineau in the QMFL.
The objectives of AFMO are:
Promote and coordinate activities related to minor football in the Outaouais. The term “minor football” is defined as excluding any activity related to school based football in the region.
Encourage the participation of boys and girls 16 years of age and under in organized football activities.
Ensure the promotion and implementation of key values of the AFMO in all its activities. These core values are defined as follows:
