After our 2013 season, the executive at the Gatineau Vikings and the Outaouais Saints decided to make the our club the place to play football in the region. We knew that we would have to play in the best league in the province for football, and more importantly we would have to have the best coaching staff we could find. Without coaching a team is nothing.
A few weeks ago we announced that we had been accepted into the Quebec Bantam Football League. The top AAA league in Quebec.
Today we are proud to announce the core of that coaching staff. There is no one in the Subway League with a more experienced and connected coaching staff than the Gatineau Vikings have right now. Our goal is properly develop players for the next level. To give them skills to succeed at the CEGEP level and beyond. The player is more important than a championship.
Registration for our Bantam camp is now open. It is a combination of positional training and classroom sessions. We’re moving this region to the next level of development. The camp is not about coaches running drills. Anyone can do it. The camp is about teaching. It’s about giving players an insight into their position and more importantly a better understanding of the game.
